MAGUS CHD10 is the entry-level HDMI camera in the MAGUS camera line. The device is installed on a microscope and helps you take photographs and record videos, process the results, and even measure objects of study. Video recording is carried out at 60 frames per second, which produces a high-quality Full HD image (1920x1080px) without interference or distortion, even when observing moving objects. The result can be displayed on a screen in real time and saved on an SD card.
The camera is ready for autonomous operation. At the same time, you can connect additional devices to it.
Software
The MAGUS CHD10 camera’s own software enables you to take photographs and record videos in Full HD (1920x1080px), display the image on a screen, process the image, and measure the linear and angular dimensions of objects and their structures. To take measurements, the device software will require calibration on each objective using a calibration slide.
Sensor
The camera uses the SONY Starvis color CMOS sensor. Its size is 1/2.8'' with a pixel size of 2.9x2.9μm. The camera uses back-illumination technology and is capable of working in low-light conditions. Its light sensitivity is 1300mV at 1/30 second. For the best performance and maximum field of view with minimal distortion, use an adapter with a magnification of 0.35x to 0.6x.
Mounting on a microscope
To begin using the camera, place the MAGUS CHD10 in the microscope eyepiece tube in place of an eyepiece. To connect the devices, you will need a C-mount adapter and an adapter ring for the diameter of the tube. The camera can also be installed in the trinocular tube using a C-mount adapter.
The kit includes:
- Digital camera
- HDMI cable (1.5m)
- USB mouse
- 32GB SD memory card
- AC power adapter 12V/1A (Euro)
- User manual and warranty card
