PANTHERA U SERIE, Trinokular, Moticam S3
The upright microscopes Panthera U & KU introduce a new level of performance to natural science applications: a new Plan Achromatic performance level combining a complete series of UC objectives with UC eyepieces of 22mm Field of View. The new patented rackless stage houses a unique dual-slide holder. Illumination is provided by an interchangeable 3W LED light source in a Fixed (U) or Full (KU) Koehler setup. The Motic LightTracer system with a built-in Low-Energy mode and an LED feedback indicator helps to optimize your workflow. Enhanced optics coupled with an intelligent illumination system - the Panthera U/KU models are a user-friendly microscopes that delivers unmatched color fidelity and definition.
SEAMLESS INTEGRATION WITH YOUR WORKFLOW
For maximum use of accessories, the Panthera U/KU models are deeply integrated into Motic’s Upright microscope system. They can be upgraded with Motic’s universal turret condenser with all Phase rings and a Darkfield stop, or with Polarizer/Analyzer for birefringent samples. With the Panthera U/KU models, it is now possible to incorporate the fluorescence method into the daily workflow without the environmental risks associated with mercury bulb usage.
NEW UC OPTICS FOR ULTRA CONTRAST IMAGES
The entire series of new Plan UC Achromatic objectives, from 2X to 100X magnification, show significantly improved image contrast. The new 100X/0.8 “Dry objective” is especially favorable in environments where the time-consuming immersion procedure may be considered too complicated. The new UC eyepieces with 22mm FOV (Field of View) pair perfectly with this new objective generation, as they complement the improved field flatness of all Plan UC objectives.
ROBUST FUNCTIONALITY FOR DEMANDING ENVIRONMENTS
Motic’s Panthera U/KU models are specifically designed for rough laboratory environments. The patented compact rackless stage has an anti-scratch coating and a new dual-slide holder that allows one-handed operation. The Panthera U/KU standard eyepiece tubes feature a 25° viewing angle for maximum comfort. The interpupillary distance of 48-75mm can easily be adjusted, while the “butterfly” movement may increase the viewing height by 60mm to accommodate different physiques. The integrated power cord compartment and carrying handle are user-friendly features that ensure easy handling.
SMART ILLUMINATION MANAGEMENT
The Panthera U/KU microscopes feature Motic’s new intelligent illumination system, the Motic LightTracer. This system combines a digital multi-function knob, a coded nosepiece, and an LED feedback indicator. The automated light management is centralized in the digital multi-function knob. It is responsible for adjusting the light intensity, works with the coded nosepiece to memo rize the illumination for each objective position, and activates the Sleep Mode. It also controls optional Epi-illuminators like the FLED modules. The 3W LED light source can easily be changed to different color temperatures (3500K/5500K).
